Let's See How You Write
It was near dawn, and the sun was soon to peak over the red horizon. Truely the coming of day would bring an interesting scene, and as Osir watched the lonely horizon-line of sky, he kept his calm tone. "I pray to the gods that this day will be another successful one." Osir spoke in a quiet tone of voice, keeping his eyes towards the sun that shown distant. The sun. A beautiful coloration on that dusky morning, and it seemed to illuminate everything that it touched. Slowly, and surely the sun would wash over the Egyptian lands. It was a time of peace.
Yet, I am worried. But of what? The man pondered inside his thoughts, soon thinking of a situation that he wanted nothing to do with. Death. Secretly, even though he was a General in the great Pharoah's army, he still had this as a fault, and just the thought of it was frightening at times. But why should he worry at all? The gods would protect him, wouldn't they? Osir had a strong faith in the gods, but he often became worried when thoughts of the afterlife struck him blindsided--he loved his life now, and he just didn't know what to expect in the end.
Would death be as painful? Would the gods shine down upon him, and grant him an honorable demise? It was all to them. Fate, and Osir hadn't the power to control it. But as he shook away those very ghastly thoughts, the sun had now shown fuller than ever, and as it casted the bright rays of light over the palace walls, Osir could not help but smile. He was a fighter, and not willing to give up on his goals and his duty to the great king, Seti I. "I must not loose sight of my goals. They are more than precious to me, and I will not throw them away over a simple fear." Osir told himself, trying to keep up his confidence.
I will not fail. By the great divine, I will not fail! He thought, as he headed back inside the palace. Osir was the type of man that loved his swords, and his duties, so much that he always made sure that he was ready for anything. If he was assigned to become a protector, then that was what he was going to do. If he was assigned to fight in the name of Seti I, and the gods, he would do just that and never quit. It was his mission in life. His loyalty, and his good soul. He would not fail.
