Let's See How You Write
Of gods and men. Of the time of great kings and leaders born into the world. That was Pharoah Seti's world, and was something that he grew to love. Seti was a proud ruler, and knew what was best for his people. He was a father, and a warrior of the gods, whom most would respect. The man was a great king, and those who knew him well would also say that, because of his reputation.
It was nearing night and the Pharoah was standing on his room's balcony, waiting for the moon to rise. Seti loved to watch the moon because he viewed himself to have some of it's traits, and even though it was far away in some distant twilight, he grew to respect it. The moon's nature was silent, but fierce in its own rights, and something that did it's duties well every night. A gentle breeze then blew by the scene, and the great king let out a small smile.
"It is peaceful now. Such a great time to seek guidance from the moon!" Pharoah Seti I said, continuing to watch the skies. Truly guidance is what he needed at that moment in time, for he was sure that something was going to happen--whether it was good or bad, and watching the skies made him less worried of such. I do hope that the peace will continue. I do not need a war to break out, on such a calm night. He thought, soon looking over the balcony's railing at the sight below.
The view from below was astonishing and it was a far sight to look upon. It was nice to look down for a moment with out part of his vision fading, and to actually be able to see with great reason. Truly an interesting view. But secretly he kept his vision problem away from the world, and because he knew all too well what could happen if the rest of Egypt saw him as being one with weak sight. A possible riot could break out. It would be chaos. Nothing more than complete chaos. Somewhere deep down he prayed that his old age would not be the end of him, for it was his duty to rule. And rule he shall.
